Museum of Science and Industry

Thank you for thinking of the Museum of Science and Industry in planning your fundraising event. Below are the guidelines for requesting a ticket donation from MSI. All requirements must be met in order to qualify for donation.

• Your organization must be raising funds for educational programs in Illinois for children within your organization in grades Pre-K through 12.
• Your ticket donation request must be submitted via the online donation form at least eight weeks prior to the date of the fundraising event. The online form must be filled out completely in order for your request to be considered. Incomplete applications will be automatically declined. Fax, email, letter or phone requests are NOT accepted.
• Your non-profit organization must have 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. You must enter the Tax Exempt ID number on the online form in order for your request to be considered. (If you are business sponsoring a charitable event, please ask a member of the non-profit organization to complete the donation request form.)

If your organization meets these requirements, you will be mailed a voucher good for Museum Entry for four (with an expiration date one year from your event). Please note: We review donation requests once per month for the month ahead. The organization requesting the donation will be contacted by email, regardless of whether or not the request is approved. Due to a high volume of submissions, MSI is unable to accommodate follow-up inquiries about the status of requests. Please allow 4 weeks for your donation to be processed and mailed if you've gotten an approval, and be sure to have correct email and street address with your application.
